Abstract: The paper presents the initial results of the study of volcanic cave system and its typical formations in Krongno Volcano Geopark (KVG), Dak Nong, Vietnam. The volcanic caves have been discovered since 2007, under UNESCO sponsored the scientific project, are seen as unique geological heritages. The collaborative surveys and studies between Vietnamese geologists and the members of the Non-Profit Organization, Vulcanospeleological Society of Japan have discovered and surveyed 45 caves, and detailed mapping 20 caves. Using a complex of adequate methods, especially Remote Sensing image interpretation method, Surveying and mapping lava cave method, K/Ar dating isotopic analytical method and Current methodology, the studies aim to affirm endogenous origin of the lava cave system, the formation mechanism, as well as the typical formations of the caves. Up to date, the lava caves and interior formation in lava caves in KVG have been examined and evaluated in term of geological nature and recognized as pillar geological heritages of the Geopark.References Allred K., AllredC., 1997. Abstract: The study aims to isolate, identify, and determine the pathological characteristics of Flavobacteria columnarecausing disease in tilapia cultured in Northern Vietnam. A total of 138 samples of tilapia suspected of being infected with F. columnare were collected from 34 disease outbreaks at 21 tilapia farms in Hoa Binh, Ha Nam, and Hai Duong provinces. The results showed that infected tilapia exhibited typical symptoms such as fibrous, silver gills, appearance of silvery white spots on the skin, fibrous fins. The outbreaks can occurr in tilapia farms anytime, but focusing and much damage in the winter-spring crop with accumulative mortality rates from 5-35%. A total of 87 isolates were retrieved from the fish samples; 34 representative isolates (1 isolate per outbreak) were successfully identified by phenotypic, biochemical tests, and PCR assays. Using TYES medium, the F. columnare isolates grew in yellow and rhizoid colonies after 36-48 h of culture. The bacteria were gram-negative, long filamentous, absorbed Congo red dye, produced flexirubin pigment, gliding motility, and were positive to catalase and oxidase tests. F. columnare grew well at a temperature of 25-28°C, pH 7-8 and NaCl concentration below 5‰. The present results provide critical information in developing strategies for the prevention and control of F. columnare infection in tilapia.

Abstract: In this paper, the authors presented some research results on the various surface morphologies of polyaniline (PANi) film, directly synthesised on Pt/SiO2interdigitated microelectrode area by electrochemical method. Theoutcomes of surface morphology and chemical composition structure analysis of PANi film were studied by Field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR), respectively. The PANi film was fabricated with the nanowires (NWs) form with their diameter from 50÷100 nm. The length of several micrometers depends on aniline concentration and synthesis condition. The obtained consequences demonstrated that the PANi - NWs are fully potential objects for the detection of NH3gas at room temperature.
