The Behavior of Mono- and Diorganylphosphine Sulfides towards Metal Carbonyl Systems, XIII. The Behavior of Secondary Phosphine Sulfides and Selenides towards Carbonyl Systems of Group VII MetalsThe secondary phosphine chalkogenides R2HPEl [El=S: R=CH3 (1a), C2H5 (1b), C6H5 (1c); El=Se: R=C6H5 (4)] react with the pentacarbonyl(halogeno)manganese and -rhenium complexes XM(CO)5 [M=Re: X=Cl (2a), Br (2b), I (2c); X=Br: M=Mn (5a), Re (5b)] at 60-85°C to give the chalkogen-bridged compounds (OC)4XReSPHR2 (3Sa-i) and (OC)4BrMSePHR2 (6a, b), respectively. The P-isomers (OC)4XRePR2SH (3Pa-i) are obtained from 1a-c and 2a-c at 120°C. On warming of 6a, b no transformation into P-isomers with functional SeH groups occurs. By elimination of selenium 6a, b were converted into the diphenylphosphine complexes (OC)4BrMPH(C6H5)2 (7a, b). The behavior of secondary phosphine chalkogenides R2HPEl (El=O,S,Se) towards different metal carbonyl systems is discussed comparatively.

Die sekundären Phosphinchalkogenide R2HPEl [El=S: R=CH3 (1a), C2H5 (1b), C6H5 (1c); El=Se: R=C6H5 (4)] reagieren mit den Pentacarbonyl(halogeno)mangan- und -rhenium-Komplexen XM(CO)5 [M=Re: X=Cl (2a), Br (2b), I (2c); X=Br: M=Mn (5a), Re (5b)] bei 60-85°C zu den chalkogen-verbrückten Verbindungen (OC)4XReSPHR2 (3Sa-i) bzw. (OC)4BrMSePHR2 (6a, b). Die P-Isomeren (OC)4XRePR2SH (3Pa-i) erhält man aus 1a-c und 2a-c bei 120°C. Beim Erwärmen von 6a, b erfolgt keine Umwandlung in P-Isomere mit funktioneller SeH-Gruppe. Unter Abspaltung von Selen gehen 6a, b in die Diphenylphosphin-Komplexe (OC)4BrMPH(C6H5)2 (7a, b) über. Das Verhalten sekundärer Phosphinchalkogenide R2HPEl (El=O, S, Se) gegenüber verschiedenen Metallcarbonylsystemen wird vergleichend diskutiert.
