Abstract
It was made the estimation of possibility benzotriazole (BТАН) action in the concentration range 1×10-7÷1×10-2 M for inhibition of copper local activation (LA) in alkaline-chloride and alkaline-sulphate solutions. It was shown, that BТАН inhibits copper LA according to adsorption-polymerization mechanism at both studied systems, and its efficiency grows under additive concentration and temperature of background solution increase.
