In recent years studies have shown the medicinal properties of extracts from these two cultivars of Piper nigrum . The medicinal properties are attributed to the presence of many secondary metabolites and mineral element in them. The phytochemical profiling was conducted using a Liquid Chromatography equipped with an electrospray time-of-flight mass spectrometer detectors. The mass spectrometer was equipped with an electrospray ionization sources operated in positive ion mode. The alkaloid compounds in the optimized black pepper extract were tentatively characterized in accordance with their ions׳ mass fragmentation.

Fakile This paper presents data on the academic performance of a particular set of accounting students from the year of inception into a Nigerian university to the year of graduation. Descriptive analysis was performed on the dataset and a regression model which is capable of making predictions was fitted to the dataset. From the dataset, 24 out of the students who started with a first class result (CGPA above 4.50) still maintained a first class result at graduation. 4 out of the students who started with a first class result dropped to second class upper division before graduation. 4 out of the students who started with a second class upper division result moved to first class result before graduation. 28 out of 35 students who started with a second class upper division maintained a second class upper division result at graduation.

The device parameters such as open-circuit voltage (Voc), short circuit current (Jsc), fill factor (FF), and power conversion efficiency (PCE) were measured with Keithley 2400 source meter unit under 100 mW/cm 2 (AM 1.5 G). The data in this article describe the optimization of ITIC-based PSCs and are directly related to our research article “Non-fullerene-based small molecules as an efficient n-type electron transporting layers in inverted organic-inorganic halide perovskite solar cells” (Noh et al., Submitted for publication) [1] .

Salau The main objective of this survey is to present data on the perception of the influence of faculty support initiatives on efficacy of job responsibilities using six private university in Nigeria as case study. The population of the study included all faculty members of selected private universities with a total of 1912 faculty members. A sample size of 500 were selected to participate in the survey based on the outcome of the sample size determination formula suggested by Falola et al. (2016) [5] . The validity and reliability of the research instrument were carried out. Regression analysis and structural equation modeling were used as statistical tool of analysis. It is believed that when the data is analysed, it will give insight into how faculty support initiatives of various universities can help in enhancing the effectiveness of job responsibilities.

Statistical methods, algorithms and machine learning methods can be applied to the raw data to obtain more hidden trend not included in this article.

Different tissues of C. caudatus demonstrated the position and intensity of characteristic peaks at 4000–450 cm −1 . Principal component analysis (PCA) shows three main groups were formed. The samples from leaves and flowers were found to be clustered together in one group, while the samples from stems and roots were clustered into two separate groups, respectively. This data provides an insight into the fingerprint identification and distribution of metabolites in the different organs of this species.

Many of these mutualistic bacteria provide benefits to plant hosts by facilitating soil mineral nutrient uptake, protecting plants from biotic and abiotic stresses and producing substances that promote growth. The dataset presented here, is related to the publication entitled “Community structure and plant growth-promoting potential of cultivable bacteria isolated from Cameroon soil” (Tchuisseu et al., 2018) [1] . The data provide an extended analysis of the occurrence, taxonomical affiliation and functional traits of bacterial groups isolated from the rhizosphere of maize in Cameroon at different taxonomical levels, using a combination of molecular/bioinformatics tools and in vitro studies. Bacteria were isolated from maize rhizosphere soil. Isolated bacteria were identified using the 16s rRNA gene sequencing and phylogenetic analyses. All strains were characterized for their potential of salinity tolerance and growth promotion (phosphate solubilization, nifH gene presence and siderophore production) in order to select efficient bacterial strains for designing biological fertilizer exploitable for agriculture under specific stress conditions of the country. The data will be valuable for further studies on plant associated bacteria in Cameroon, which are still largely unexplored.
