Notes: Abstract Stellar speckle spectroscopy is a speckle interferometric method enabling us to separate point by point spectra on a stellar object with a diffraction-limited spatial resolution of a telescope. We describe observational results obtained with our system for speckle spectroscopy. Data of two binary stars, of which separations are closer than seeing disc, were taken and processed by cross-correlation method. In each object, spectral images of two component stars around the Hα line (656.3 nm) were spatially resolved with nearly diffraction-limited resolution. The separated spectra of ADS940 reveal different spectral types of the component stars. These results demonstrate the ability of the speckle spectroscopic method.

Notes: [Auszug] Infrared excesses have been observed1"5 at the elongation around 4 and 10 A© which have confirmed the existence of a dust-free zone inside the solar distance (radial distance from the Sun) at about 4 r© (r© is the linear radius of the Sun), and indicates that there is a ring-shaped ...

Notes: Abstract A method for the improvement of resolution in an observed solar image is proposed. A blind deconvolution method is used for restoration of an atmospherically-degraded solar image, and a super-resolution method is applied to its restored image to improve the resolution. It is confirmed that a blind deconvolution process can restore fine structures that are blurred in an observed image, and that the super-resolution process can make a cutoff frequency in a blind-deconvolved image higher. A time series of super-resolved images of a sunspot observed with the 70-cm Vacuum Tower Telescope at Teide Observatory is presented.

Description: Cancers, Vol. 10, Pages 245: Role of Immunotherapy for Oncogene-Driven Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Cancers doi: 10.3390/cancers10080245 Authors: Yosuke Miura Noriaki Sunaga The clinical application of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) has led to dramatic changes in the treatment strategy for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Despite the observation of improved overall survival in NSCLC patients treated with ICIs, their efficacy varies greatly among different immune and molecular profiles in tumors. Particularly, the clinical significance of ICIs for oncogene-driven NSCLC has been controversial. In this review, we provide recent clinical and preclinical data focused on the relationship between oncogenic drivers and immunological characteristics and discuss the future direction of immunotherapy in NSCLC patients harboring such genetic alterations
