    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Arbeitsvorschriften für den qualitativen Nachweis von Fluorid, Fluosilikat, Fluoborat und Sulfat in deren Gemischen werden angegeben. Fluorid, Fluosilikat und Fluoborat werden durch geeignete Modifikationen der Siliciumtetrafluoridprobe nachgewiesen. Nach Entfernung dieser Ionen durch Zusatz ammoniakalischer Calciumnitratlösung wird Sulfat durch Fällung mit Bariumnitrat nachgewiesen.
    Abstract: Résumé On décrit des procédés d'identification qualitative de fluorures, fluosilicates, fluoborates et sulfates en mélanges. On identifie les fluorures, fluosilicates et fluoborates par l'essai au tétrafluorure de silicium, après modifications adéquates. On recherche les sulfates en les précipitant par le nitrate de baryum après élimination des ions précédents par addition de nitrate de calcium ammoniacal.
    Notes: Summary Procedures for the qualitative identification of fluoride, fluosilicate, fluoborate and sulphate in mixtures are described. Fluoride, fluosilicate and fluoborate are identified by suitable modifications of the silicon tetrafluoride test. Sulphate is identified by precipitation with barium nitrate, after the removal of the preceding ions by the addition of ammoniacal calcium nitrate.

    Notes: Summary A procedure is described for the qualitative identification of selenite, selenate, tellurite, and tellurate by means of their precipitation as silver salts, followed by a series of selective and characteristic reduction tests on these precipitates. Tellurate may also be identified via precipitation of its calcium salt.

    Abstract: Résumé On peut éliminer l'interférence des fluorures avec les borates et les fluoborates dans l'essai à la lame de plomb en effectuant la recherche de la silice et des borates sur une goutte d'eau, ce qui permet l'identification positive de la présence de silice et de borate dans l'échantillon.
    Notes: Summary Interference with the lead plate test for fluoride by borate and fluoborate can be eliminated by applying tests for silica and borate to the water drop, these tests allowing positive identification of the presence of silica and borate in the sample.
