Abstract: With the goal of fostering the circular economy, the present work was devised to minimize and manage agricultural waste by transforming it into biochar; a versatile dye removal adsorbent. Waterways across the globe are frequently fouled and contaminated with organic materials, especially via unregulated industrial effluents, producing toxic water supplies. Rhodamine B (RhB) and Methylene blue (MB) dyes were used as model organic pollutants in water. The contaminants were then readily extracted from environmental samples using sustainable wheat straw derived biochars. These materials were utilized in an effort to link the circular economy directly to environmental protection, reducing organic contamination by using a low carbon solution. Herein, two methods were adopted to refine a low temperature carbonized material, dependent on initial pre-treatment; leaching followed by milling (method-I) and milling followed by leaching (method-II). Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), nitrogen physisorption, proximate and ultimate analysis and Attenuated Total Reflectance-Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) were used to examine the properties of the synthesized materials. It was found that by altering the process of initial waste pre-treatment, an increase in available surface area (6.284 m 2 g −1 –20.754 m 2 g −1 ) and pore structure can be found post feedstock pyrolysis. Additionally, FTIR of the biochar post extraction supported the adsorption process of both dyes, demonstrating a change in dye-adsorbent bonding, depending on the initial waste pre-treatment for the biochar. In batch mode, several operating parameters including pH, concentration, duration, and dose were optimized. Kinetics and adsorption isotherm studies for biochar synthesized by method-II pre-treatment (BC-II) revealed that the system follows Pseudo-first-order kinetics and Freundlich adsorption isotherm model with the relative R 2 of 0.9989 and 0.9880 for RhB, comparing with 0.9933 and 0.9932 for MB. The optimal produced biochar, BC-II effectively removed 91.06% of RhB from solution at pH 4 and 92.43% for MB at pH 8. This study brings forth a solution to enhance waste management by creating a circular scenario and alleviate environmental contamination by utilizing wheat straw as a biochar adsorbent, produced under controlled and low temperature conditions.

Abstract: This review paper explores the integration of Arduino control and aerodynamic principles to enhance the performance of 6 Degrees of Freedom (DOF) robotic arms. Robotic arms have become indispensable in numerous industries, requiring increased precision, efficiency, and adaptability. By leveraging the capabilities of Arduino microcontrollers and incorporating aerodynamic principles, researchers and engineers can optimize the design, control algorithms, and energy efficiency of robotic arms. This paper provides an overview of Arduino control and its advantages for robotic arm control, as well as an exploration of aerodynamic principles applicable to robotic arm systems. It investigates the potential benefits of integrating Arduino control and aerodynamics, such as improved stability, reduced energy consumption, and enhanced speed. Challenges and limitations of the proposed approach are also discussed. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, case studies, and experimental results, this paper highlights the effectiveness of integrating Arduino control and aerodynamic principles to enhance the performance of 6 DOF robotic arms. The findings contribute to the advancement of robotic arm technology and offer insights for future research and development in this field.

Abstract: Fog computing paradigm has recently emerged and gained higher attention in present era of Internet of Things. The growth of large number of devices all around, leads to the situation of flow of packets everywhere on the Internet. To overcome this situation and to provide computations at network edge, fog computing is the need of present time that enhances traffic management and avoids critical situations of jam, congestion etc. Methods: For research purposes, there are many methods to implement the scenarios of fog computing i.e. real-time implementation, implementation using emulators, implementation using simulators etc. The present study aims to describe the various simulation and emulation tools for implementing fog computing scenarios. Results: Review shows that iFogSim is the simulator that most of the researchers use in their research work. Among emulators, EmuFog is being used at higher pace than other available emulators. This might be due to ease of implementation and user-friendly nature of these tools and language these tools are based upon. The use of such tools enhance better research experience and leads to improved quality of service parameters (like bandwidth, network, security etc.). Conclusion: There are many fog computing simulators/emulators based on many different platforms that uses different programming languages. The paper concludes that the two main simulation and emulation tools in the area of fog computing are iFogSim and EmuFog. Accessibility of these simulation/emulation tools enhance better research experience and leads to improved quality of service parameters along with the ease of their usage.

Abstract: In today’s world of wireless communication, technologies like Wi-Fi, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) play a vital role in various applications for the benefit and convenience of the society. A widespread application of RFID networks based on automatic data capture technology is supply chain management. In RFID enabled supply chain process lot of possibilities of outliers or anomaly generation due to technical or environmental factors exist. This work mainly focuses on identifying various techniques used for outlier detection in RFID datasets in supply chain process. Most of literature studies are related to objects tracking and product management in the domain of supply chain but very few researchers have worked on the abnormal condition or outlier detection while monitoring of RFID tagged objects. Outliers are any kind of deviation in supply chain processes from its normal processing or behavior. Our research is specific to the supply-chain process using RFID system specifically for the abnormality detection in the localization process in supply-chain process. Inaccurate localization of objects can be due to several reasons like theft, counterfeiting, traffic problem, environmental factors or malfunctioning of the vehicle carrying RFID tagged objects.
