Abstract: Since the first case in Indonesia, the government has directly handled it by implementing Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) from March 2020 to May 2020. In it, it is regulated to limit activities and stop mass activities. One of them is the city of Banjarmasin due to the highest number of cases in Banjarmasin 70 percent of the Covid-19 cases are in the city of Banjarmasin, making the city of Banjarmasin a red zone which has a very significant impact on all sectors. As the city center, the city of Banjarmasin makes the industrial, trade, service and tourism sectors the mainstay of the economy. Of course, this sector requires a large number of people, so this sector is greatly affected by the social distancing regulations. Since the onset of COVID-19, economic growth in Gudang Hirang Village has experienced a very significant decline. If more and more households lose their jobs, the more households will lose their income, which will have an impact on household consumption. When household income decreases, household consumption also decreases. One of the problems we encountered was mainly in terms of the economy. Very minimal income by relying on agricultural products causes the local economy to be less stable, so that the use of agricultural products, namely rice, to improve skills and the economic value of rice is increasing. By making preparations of rice soap and green tea leaf extract, the community becomes innovative by utilizing natural ingredients in the village to improve the economy of the people of Gudang Hirang Village RT 05. Together with representatives of residents who have previously received education on the efficacy of the ingredients used to make liquid soap from rice and green tea leaf extract which can treat itching. Making liquid soap from rice and green tea leaf extract to improve the economy and overcome skin itching was seen to be useful for cadres because they could understand and be able to participate in making liquid soap, which can be seen from the results of the questionnaire before and after the training on making liquid soap from rice and green tea leaf extract. The increase in the success percentage of the program was from 20.8% to 91.30%  Sejak kasus pertama di Indonesia, pemerintah langsung melakukan penanganan dengan menerapkan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) dari Maret 2020 hingga Mei 2020.

Abstract: Background and Objectives: Cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) infections are increasing worldwide due to the increased use of implantable cardiac devices. (CIED) infection is a serious complication that is associated with increased mortality and morbidity as well as increased healthcare costs. However, risk factors for infection of implanted devices are poorly documented in Saudi Arabia. We aimed to determine risk factors for CIED infection in our region. Methods and Results: A retrospective study was carried out in cardiology departments at different centers in Saudi Arabia. Our population consisted of all patients with device-related infections over twenty years from January 2009 to December 2020 with one control case matched to each confirmed infection of the implanted device, resulting in 137 patients with device infection. The mean age was 58±16 years, where males constituted 75.2%. Most infections occurred in patients with the first implant. (63.5%) patients had chronic kidney disease, (59.9%) of patients had diabetes mellitus, (65%) of patients had hypertension, and (43.1%) of patients had coronary artery disease. Most of the patients had a pocket infection. Preop antibiotics were obtained in all patients before implanting. The median time from the last surgical intervention involving the device to infection symptoms was 730 days. The median length of hospitalization was 27±23 days. 130 patients survived at the time of discharge, resulting in an overall mortality rate of 5.1%. Using Multivariate analysis, we identified male gender (P = 0.000), hypertension HTN (P = 0.002), diabetes DM (P = 0.006), and presence of underlying heart disease CHD (P = 0.000) Type of the device (P = 0.000) as significantly associated with a higher risk of CIED infection. Conclusion: Our data show that gender, diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease are independent risk factors for infection after cardiac device implantation. As regards device characteristics, ICD device is associated with a higher infection rate compared to other devices.

Abstract: The ability of Islam in building the civilization has been proven throughout the history. Islam has transformed and revolutionized the culture of men by encompassing on faith, doing-behaviour, and moral elements. These elements also preserves the identity, culture and the way of life of Muslim communities. The refreshment of Islamic principle is needed now to enhance the dynamic identity of Muslim family. To ensure it is successful, it requires the early children’s education as mentioned by Muḥammad Nūr ‘Abd. Ḥafīz Suwayd, one of the islamic education scholar in his book, Manhaj al-Tarbiah al-Nabawiyyah Ii al-Ṭifli. The aspects of faith, doing-behaviour and morals are the main elements of his book in order to produce a generation embracing the islamic values by cultivating them early in the children’s education. However, this study focus on the faith element without denying the importance of doing-behaviour and moral elements as the effort to build the dynamic identity of Muslim family. This study presents textual methods and content analysis as the main methods of data collection by using the inductive and deductive methods for data analysis. As a result, the element of faith in a Muslim family can be built on several foundations as proposed by Muḥammad Nūr ‘Abd. Ḥafīz Suwayd and can be adapted by parents nowadays to strengthen their children’s identity in the family.

Abstract: Mangifera Odorata or locally called Kuini, is a mango species with attractive striking orange flesh and have strong and unique smell, make it special in local market. Research is being carried out in MARDI from seed production to marketing to expose M. odorata to local and export market. Postharvest handling technology is one of importance aspect that has been develop to cater the market needs for commercialization. Proper postharvest handling will reduce postharvest losses, maintain freshness and to prolong storage life to make sure consumer get the premium quality of fruit. In postharvest handling, one of most important factors to maintain quality during handling, distribution and display is storage at the optimum temperature. Effect of different storage temperature on quality and storage life of M. odorata var. Tembaga were carried out. M. odorata at 11 to 12 weeks after fruit set were harvest at MARDI Sintok, Kedah and transported to packinghouse MARDI Serdang for storage study. On arrival at MARDI Serdang, fruit were sorted, washed, drain, packed and stored at different storage temperature (8, 10, 13, 15 and 250C). Visual quality assessment (appearance, disease quality changes), physical (texture, colour (Lightness, hue, chroma)) and chemical (pH, total titratable acidity (TTA), ascorbic acid, soluble solid content (SSC)) analysis were carried out weekly. Results of this study showed that storage duration and different storage duration significantly affected SSC. pH, TTA, chroma of M. odorata. The highest TSS, pH and chroma of M. odorata at 100C and the lowest at 250C. The highest TTA of M. odorata at storage temperature 80C and 130C, and the lowest TTA at 250C. Ascorbic acid content not significantly affected by different storage temperature from 8 to 150C, but significant different compare to ascorbic acid content at ambient storage temperature. Ascorbic acid content of M. odorata significantly lower at 250C compare to storage at 8 C - 150C. Lightness and texture of M. odorata slightly decrease during storage but not significant (P 〉 0.05). Lightness of M. Odorata was not significantly affected by different storage temperature. Hue of M. Odorata significantly affected by storage duration and but not affected by different storage temperature. Hue of M. odorata significantly increased in the first weeks of storage, followed by significant decreased at week 2, maintain until week 4 and significantly decreased at week 5. Quality observed visually showed that freshness of M. Odorata maintain 5 weeks at 80C, 4 weeks at 100C, 2 weeks at 10 – 150C and 1 week at 250C.

Abstract: Umbilical and paraumbilical hernias are common conditions affecting a significant portion of the global population, with surgical intervention being a common treatment modality. Seroma formation is a common complication after hernioplasty. Tranexamic acid (TXA) has emerged as a promising prophylactic agent for seroma prevention, as it inhibits fibrin breakdown, reducing blood loss and blood transfusions. Objective: To evaluate the role of intravenous tranexamic acid in the prevention of seroma formation after umbilical and paraumbilical hernioplasty. Methods: It was a cohort study conducted at the department of surgery, Kulsoom Bai Valika Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan from Oct 2022 to Apr 2022. Patients aged 18 years or above who underwent umbilical and paraumbilical hernioplasty of either gender were involved in the study. The individuals were then categorized into two groups: the exposed group, consisting of patients who received intravenous tranexamic acid (IVTXA), and the unexposed group, comprising of patients who did not receive IVTXA. Both groups were monitored for a duration of three months to assess the incidence of seroma formation. Results: Out of 30 patients in each group, 4 patients (13.3%) in the IVTXA group developed seroma, while 26 patients (86.7%) in the Without TXA group developed seroma. This difference was statistically significant with p-value=0.0021. The risk of seroma formation is 0.22 times lesser in patients with intravenous tranexamic acid as compared to patients without tranexamic acid (RR=0.22, 95% CI: 0.12-0.91). Conclusions: IVTXA may be effective in preventing seroma formation after umbilical and paraumbilical hernioplasty.

Abstract: This study aims to present the state of the academic literature on the sustainability of non-profit organizations (NPOs) and how previous researchers have approached NPO sustainability. The review has resulted in the final 30 articles for review and analysis. The research characteristics of the articles are identified by examining the publication outlet. It is observed that research in the 1990s on NPO sustainability is scarce, with a focus on understanding and identifying models of sustainability. Research in the first decade of the 21st Century has focused on the financial and non-financial approaches to address the sustainability of NPO. Meanwhile, research in the 21st Century's second decade acknowledged the need to integrate the diverse perspective of NPO sustainability into a comprehensive framework. This study found various approaches that influence NPO sustainability: financial or economic approach; organizational characteristics and strategy; capacity building; partnership or collaboration; and value-based perspective. Theoretically, this study provides an overall view of how academic researchers have attempted to address NPOs' sustainability. In terms of practical contribution, this study serves as a guide for the NPOs and relevant regulators on how to address the organization’s sustainability from various perspectives. We further set out suggestions for future research as well as the limitations and contributions of this study.
