Notes: Abstract In a female infant with multiple malformations the chromosomal analysis revealed a supernumerary chromosome resembling in form and structure chromosome E16 (2n=47,XX, t(C9 q−)+). The mother of the patient showed a balanced translocation B4/C9 (2n=46,XX, t(B4p+; C9 q−).
