    Description: The data shows Mg/Ca ratios of single specimens of the planktonic foraminifera Globigerinoides ruber (pink and white variety) and Globorotalia Inflata from a sediment trap anchored off Cape Blanc (NW-Africa). Mg/Ca ratios were determined on an ICP-MS and ICP-OES at the University of Bremen, after flow-through cleaning. Additionally, shells sizes and calculated shell weights are provided.
