    Abstract: Successfully optimizing the right and left sides of the brain can help to improve intelligence, logic and social intelligence. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the brain gym game in optimizing the right and left sides of students’ brains. A quantitative approach was used with a pretest/posttest design. Random sampling was used to recruit participants and the sample consisted of 53 students at XI MIPA Senior High School. The results showed that the brain gym game was effective in optimizing students’ right and left sides of the brain. Based on these results, innovation is recommended that contributes to the novelty of guidance and counseling media using the brain gym game to reflect on the functions of students’ right and left sides of the brain.     Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of group guidance with discussion techniques on the interest in learning local content. This research method uses Experiments with 8 subjects of research, which is obtained from the results of questionnaire analysis that has been tested for validity as a support for an approach to teachers guidance and counseling. Data were analyzed quantitatively descriptively. The results of this Experimental study indicate that group guidance with discussion techniques can influence the interest in learning local content on 8 students who are subject. Score of interest in learning local content before being given an action (pre-test) that is 43 in the low category. After being given an action (post-test) the score was 55 which was categorized as moderate. Thus it can be recommended that group guidance with discussion techniques can influence the interest in learning local content for students in the school.

    Abstract: Students often face problems during their higher education experience. This study aimed to identify problems experienced by students seen at the Technical Implementation Unit of the Guidance and Counseling Services at Yogyakarta State University (UPT LBK UNY). This study’s sample was 313 students who attended counseling during the past year at UPT LBK UNY. Purposive sampling was used. This was quantitative research, and the data were collected through documentation review and interviews. Quantitative descriptive techniques were used to analyze the data. The results showed that 45.05% of students had problems in their personal lives. Only 0.96% had career problems. Two students had problems in the personal-sociallearning-career fields simultaneously. Recommendations are provided for the university on developing the right strategies to overcome the problems experienced by students.     Abstract: Project-based learning integrated with Entrepreneurial Science Thinking (EnSciT) is a model that involves the students in playing the learning based on their own discovering, researching, and creating project using science knowladge to produce a science-based and innovative product that can be accepted by the people. The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of project-based learning integrated with EnSciT in terms of students’s symbolic language enhancement. The method of this research is One Grup Pretest-Posttest Design. This research using instruments of generic science skill test, observation sheet, and questionnaire. The analytical technique using n-gain test. Students’s science generic skill enhancement resulting gain factor of 0,523 in medium criteria. The characteristics of project-based learning integrated with EnSciT growing creative thinking that trains the symbolic language. Symbolic language skill increased signifcantly resulting gain factor of 0,82.

    Abstract: We examined how each school climate aspect affect adolescence’s psychological well-being by emphasizing that school climate is the quality of school process which is can be either support or worsen the adolescence’s psychological well-being. In achiving the research purposes we used two kinds of instruments namely Inventory of School Climate-Student (ISC–S) and The Scale of Eudaimonia. From the simple regression analysis we found that there is a significant relationship bertween school climate and adolescence’s psychological well-being; meanwhile from the partial regression analysis the results are vary where three of school climate aspects do not affect adolecence’s psychological well-being and seven others significantly affect adolescence’s psychological well-being.

    Abstract: It is important for students’ self-acceptance to be improved, and for guidance and counseling services in formal education to be provided according to needs, such as self-acceptance. This study aimed to determine whether group guidance can help to increase students’ self-acceptance. Data were collected through a Likert scale and through interviews with guidance and counseling teachers. The research subjects were eleventh-grade students of State Senior High School 11 in Yogyakarta. A quantitative approach was taken and data were analyzed through Wilcoxon tests. The results showed that there were differences before and after students were given group guidance services and this was statistically significant (0.028 〈 0.05). We conclude that student self-acceptance can be increased through group guidance services. Keywords: self-acceptance, group guidance, students

    Abstract: Indonesia is a multicultural country that consists of various races, ethnicities, customs, cultures, ethnicities, languages, and gender that are different from one another. Multicultural communities prioritize differences in equality. This condition is reinforced bytheexistenceofslogans“Bhinekatunggalika”.Becauseofthisdiversityisoursocial capital for life with respects and tolerance each other also acknowledges equality. However, the phenomenon of intolerance issues which latterly emerged in Indonesia, has created an atmosphere of injury to diversity. The problem is not only triggered by internal friction between the elements of the nation, but also is a part of the reflection of global conditions in the contemporary era as if no longer geographically isolated because of the ease of access to information through the sophistication of its technology. There is an ideological network that unites to develop participation in variouscountriesintheworld.ThisresearchwasconductedonstudentsofUniversitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). If students can build tolerance and multicultural values, it is expected to minimize the incidence of intolerance in the future. The objectives in this study are: 1) Knowing the implementation of the media literacy movement at Universitas Negeri Semarang. 2) Develop a media literacy model and the strategy for implementingmedialiteracymodelsforthedevelopmentofmulticulturaltoleranceand values among students. Outcomes of research: 1) Making articles on scientific journal publications. 2) Arranging Textbooks. The research method uses qualitative research and is a Research and Development.
