Summary The level and the accumulation of acid metabolism have been evaluated in the blood of pregnant women during labor (pH 7,7337, Standard-bicarbonate 19,68 mMol/l; highley elevated levels were found especially in lactate (39,08 mg-%) and pyruvate content (1,914 mg-%). The excess values of lactic acid was + 6,59 mg-%. — On the contrary in spite of combined respiratory and metabolic aciosis (vena ombilicalis: pH 7,269, St.B. 19,46 m Mol/l, lactate 30,43 mg-%, Pyruvate 1,251 mg-%) no support from anaerobic metabolic reactions could be demonstrated (excess lactate + 0,54 mg-%). The acid metabolites in the umbilical blood are beliebed to be in the majority from maternal origin.

Zusammenfassung Im Blut der Mutter treten während der Wehentätigkeit gehäuft saure Stoffwechsel-Valenzen auf (pH 7,337, Standardbicarbonat 19,68 mMol/l; erhöht sind vor allem auch der Lactat- (39,08 mg-%) und Pyruvatgehalt (1,914 mg-%). Der Milchsäureüberschuß beträgt +6,59 mg-%. Dagegen besteht im Nabelschnurblut trotz kombinierter respiratorischer und metabolischer Acidosis (Vena umbilicalis: pH 7,269 St.B. 19,46 mMol/l, Lactat 30,43 mg-%, Pyruvat 1,251 mg-%) kein Anhalt für anaerobe Stoffwechselprozesse (excess lactate + 0,54 mg-%). Die sauren Metaboliten im Nabelschnurblut sind offenbar vorwiegend maternen Ursprungs.
