Notes: [Auszug] For the incision of tissues by burning we would expect the temperature at the point of laser impact to be at least that required for the combustion of tissue. The carbonization of skin occurs between 300° C and 400° C (ref. 5) and a temperature of 530° C causes the combustion of skin6. ...

Notes: Summary The genePm2 conditioning resistance to powdery mildew in the cultivar Ulka was located on chromosome 5D by monosomic analysis. It showed genetic segregation independent of geneLr3 conditioning resistance to leaf rust on the same chromosome. Results of telocentric mapping demonstrated thatLr1 was on the long arm of 5D whereasPm2 was very close to the centromere on this arm or, more likely, on the opposite arm. Evidence from chimaeric sectoring favoured the latter alternative.

Notes: Abstract This paper presents and discusses extensive data obtained from 30 employed graduates of associate-degree programs in mental health. Some biographical data are included along with a summary of their objectives as mental health workers and their perception of the relevancy of their training to these objectives. Further, information is presented relative to the utilization of these mental health associates by agencies and institutions. The problems they encountered on entering the mental health field and the characteristics of their work situations that provided, or failed to provide, them with a feeling of satisfaction in their new roles are discussed.

Notes: Abstract The present study examines changes that occurred over a one-year interval among a group of mental health associates who represented some of the first graduates of two-year programs. An additional group of graduates who entered the field one year later is included. Various comparisons are made, such as personal data, career objectives, obstacles encountered, utilization by agencies, and the perceived characteristics of work situations that provided or failed to provide them with satisfactory working conditions.
