    Description: Theorie und Beobachtung ergeben, daß in gezeitenfreien exponentiell geschichteten Meeren die Spektren der Horizontalgeschwindigkeit (u, v) durch eine Gesetzmäßigkeit gemäß (12), (13), diejenigen der Temperatur gemäß (19) gegeben sind. From theory we get that internal waves due to air pressure changes are given by eq. (3), (4) and (16). From these we get the formulas (12), (13) and (19) as first approximations for the amplitude spectra of u, v and T. Figs. 2-18 show 150 spectra observed in the Baltic during 1961 to 1964 in comparison to theory (clashed lines).
