    Abstract: In the material of thermodynamics, many physics equations make students abstract in understanding the material. It is necessary to have a learning media to be able to visualize the thermodynamics material. Matlab is usually used in numerical analysis. Currently, Matlab can be used as a medium for learning physics by students to understand the material well. This study aims to develop a physics calculator application on the subject of thermodynamics using Matlab software. The research method used in this research is the research development method with the development model of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The instruments used in this study were a validation test questionnaire and a student response questionnaire. The analysis technique applied is the descriptive analysis and the average analysis techniques. The results developed in this study are in the form of a Physics calculator application that helps physics calculations on thermodynamic material. The average validation result by material experts and media experts is 83.1%, with the "Good" category. In other words, according to experts, this media is suitable for use in physics learning. This application also received a positive response from students, with an average student response score of 79.8%. This application is also equipped with materials, physics calculators, physics simulations and question exercises so that it is expected to help students understand physics learning in thermodynamics material.

    Abstract: Perilaku inovatif guru sangat dibutuhkan selama pandemi Covid 19 saat ini. Guru dituntut untuk membuat media pembelajaran yang kreatif agar bisa diberikan ke siswa agar siswa tidak jenuh belajar selama belajar di rumah. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru di  SMK Paya Rumput Melaka Malaysia dalam pembuatan video animasi pembelajaran interaktif dengan Powtoon Mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah SMK Paya Rumput Melaka Malaysia dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 59 guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat meliputi wawancara, sosialisasi, dan pelatihan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket secara online melaui google form. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh peningkatan guru dalam pembuatan video animasi pembelajaran dengan Powtoon sebesar 39 %. Guru sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan.

    Abstract: This program is aimed to increase teacher competency through PhET simulation training. This activity is expected to be used as reference material for teachers to implement practical simulations that caused by time constraints and incomplete laboratory facilities and laboratory facilities. Community service activities are carried out using training, discussion, and mentoring methods. Based on the results of this program, 76.9% of the training participants really need knowledge of laboratory management. The trainees looked at the PhET simulation material as very relevant to the field of physics. This is proofed by a response of 76.9% which states that the PhET simulation material is very relevant to learning physics. The trainees also rated very well (92.3%) the benefits of the knowledge of the use of this media in the physics learning process. This training can be reference for trainees to carry out practicum activities virtually in their respective schools. The trainees found of that PhET simulation easy to understand. This condition can be seen from the results of a survey which stated that 92.3% of the training participants answered that it was easy to understand this material.Keywords: Phet Simulation, Physics, Teacher Competency Improvement, Virtual Laboratory.ABSTRAK Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan PhET simulation. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan bahan rujukan bagi guru untuk menerapkan simulasi praktikum yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan waktu dan belum lengkapnya prasarana dan sarana laboratorium praktikum. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan, diskusi, dan pendampingan. Berdasarkan hasil program ini, 76,9% peserta pelatihan sangat membutuhkan pengetahuan pengelolaan laboratorium. Peserta pelatihan memandang materi PhET simulation sangat relevan dengan bidang fisika. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan respon sebesar 76,9% yang menyatakan bahwa materi PhET simulation sangat relevan dengan pembelajaran fisika. Peserta pelatihan juga menilai sangat baik (92,3%) terhadap manfaat pengetahuan penggunaan media ini pada proses pembelajaran fisika. Pelatihan ini bisa menjadi acuan bagi peserta pelatihan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan praktikum secara virtual di sekolah masing-masing. Peserta pelatihan menilai PhET simulation mudah dipahami. Kondisi ini terlihat dari hasil survei yang menyatakan 92,3% peserta pelatihan menjawab mudah dalam memahami materi ini.Kata Kunci: Phet Simulasi, Fisika, Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru, Laboratorium Virtual

    Abstract: This research aims to understand the influence process of science skill and motivation learning with creativity learn. Data about the process of scince skill, motivation and creativity learn collected by test questioner instrument. Data analysis with regression analysis and correlation. Research shows that: There is the influence of skill process of science to the process of creativity learn with correlation coefficient r=0.634, there is the influence of motivation learn students to creativity learning with correlation coefficient r=0.55, the process of science skills and motivation to study for students influence of creativity learn with correlation coefficient r=0.935. This study concluded that skill process of science and the motivation to study student could creative learning.

    Abstract: 〈 span lang="EN-US" 〉 Misconceptions in physics learning are still common at the upper school level. Misconceptions lead to low ability to understand students’ concepts in studying physics. Physics misconceptions experienced by students are difficult to detect. This study aimed to develop an Android-based assessment application with a four-tier diagnostics test instrument that can be used to detect student physics misconceptions early on. Product development is carried out by developing physics instruments for class X, XI, and XII levels and then developing an Android-based assessment application. The results showed that this application received a positive response from teachers and students. In addition, the application is able to detect physics misconceptions experienced by students. 〈 /span 〉

    Abstract: The misconception of physics is a difference in understanding concepts known to students with actual concepts. The student's physics misconception profile must be identified for the student to have a correct understanding of the concept—diagnostic tests as a solution to uncover the causes or factors of misunderstanding the physics concept in students. One type of diagnostic test is 4 tier tests. The purpose of this study was to see if the 4th Tier-Magnetic Diagnostic Test (4T-MDT) can help students identify misconceptions. The study was R & D with a 4D model.  The 4T-MDT instrument consists of 20 multiple choice questions. Once the 4T-MDT instrument is validated, an average assessment of 84% is obtained, which means it is worth using and implemented to students. The test results showed that as many as 15 items on the 4T-MDT instrument were valid, had high reliability, different good power, and a good difficulty level. As a result, the 4T-MDT instrument may be used to identify the profile of student physics mistakes about magnetic fields.

    Abstract: Physics is one of the abstract subjects that require visualization so that learning media is needed so that students are able to understand the concepts studied. One of the learning media that displays visualization by utilizing technology in the form of educational games. This study aims to analyze the development of educational game learning media in physics learning with a bibliometric approach using VOSViewer software. The method used in this study is bibliometric analysis. There are 6 clusters of classification through VOSViewer software. The results of the study obtained articles used with the title "educational games" and "learning media", as well as the keyword "physics learning" began to increase rapidly in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. The article was produced from various universities in Indonesia and uses Indonesian. In this study, 4 clusters were obtained that discussed the topic of developing educational game learning media in physics learning. For the topic of developing educational game learning media, it has been quite widely done, but for the topic of the effectiveness of the use of educational games in physics learning, it is still rare for a study to be carried out.Keywords: educational games, learning media, physics learning, bibliometric, vosviewer.

    Abstract: This study is a literature review. The flipped classroom is the latest pedagogical model that has the potential to change the current traditional way of teaching. Flipped classroom emphasizes on learning activities that promote critical thinking and motivation among the students with the assistance of technology. The flipped classroom allows educators to move from ‘the sage on the stage’ to ‘the guide on the side. The basic and simplest form of flipped classroom is students are expected to watch digital resources prior to class. The students are then required to come prepared for class and perform hands-on activities that are related to the digital resources. The digital resources can be in any form such as video, audio or the internet. This allows teachers to spend more time with their students to carry out in class activities and allow immediate response to students’ needs. Student feedback on this pedagogy was generally very positive with many respondents considering it effective and helpful for learning. One of the biggest advantages mentioned by students is that they had the option to watch each video lecture as many times as required to be prepared for class.

    Abstract: ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi yang merambah dalam dunia pendidikan telah banyak ditandai dengan adanya inovasi-inovasi terbarukan yang dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran. Salah satunya adalah dengan adanya inovasi  dalam pembuatan metode pembelajaran. Guru harus bisa melakukan suatu inovasi pembelajaran karerna, guru memiliki peranan sangat strategis dalam proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran IPA di SMP wilayah Jadebotabek khususnya mata pelajaran Fisika masih mengggunakan metode ceramah, memberikan catatan, memberikan latihan soal hal ini dirasa  kurang menarik dan sering membosankan karena kurangnya inovasi dalam metode pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melakukan analisis kebutuhan dan melihat peran guru dalam mengembangkan metode pembelajaran IPA yaitu menggunakan metode Flipped Classroom. Metode yang digunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yaitu dengan cara melakukan analisis kebutuhan. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, dan penyebaran angket. Angket analisis kebutuhan diberikan kepada Guru IPA di SMP wilayah Jawa Tengah. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pengembangan metode pembelajaran Flipped Classroom perlu dilakukan di SMP wilayah Jawa Tengah. Hasil lainnya, guru juga menginginkan adanya pelatihan tentang penerapan metode pembelajaran Flipped Classroom untuk meningkatkan kualitas metode pembelajaran. Kata kunci: kebutuhan guru; metode pembelajaran; flipped classroom. ABSTRACTThe development of technology that has penetrated into the world of education has been marked by the existence of renewable innovations that can support the learning process. One of them is the innovation in making learning methods. Teachers must be able to carry out a learning innovation because teachers have a very strategic role in the learning process. Science learning at Junior high school in Central Java area, especially Physics subjects, still uses method of lectures, giving notes, giving exercises, this is deemed less interesting and often boring due to the lack of innovation in learning methods. The purpose of this study is to conduct a need assessment and see the role of the teacher in developing science learning model usuing Flipped Classroom. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method that is by way of need assessment by conducting interviews questionnaire and direct observation. A needs analysis questionnaire was given to the science teacher at Junior high school in Jawa Tengah area. From the research results, it was found that the development of the Flipped Classroom learning method needed to be carried out at Junior high school in Jawa Tengah area. The other result, teachers at school want training on the application of the Flipped Classroom learning method to improve the quality of learning methods. Keywords: teacher needs; learning methods; flipped classroom.
